Whoops!

Wow, it's already been 4 months since my last post! That's TERRIBLE! I'm bad at this game. But I do have a very good explanation as to why I haven't posted! I was in school! I don't know if I've mentioned before, but I'm in art school and well, all of my "free time" is devoted to sleep, watching mindless tv, and other relaxing things (knitting or reading). A girl sometimes forgets that she has a blog...Whatevs.

It's past Christmas, almost New Years. It's weird how fast this year's gone. This semester of school, in fact. It felt like it was dragging on forever and suddenly it's done! There was a final race to the finish, furiously getting things done and suddenly I have nothing to do (art school related). I have plenty of knitting to do.

I am embarking on the Doctor Who Season 12 scarf journey. It's going to be epic. Incredibly long, but epic. So many color changes, such a long length, all garter stitch. Amazing.

I also have many pairs of socks I want to knit. I've got some new yarn to use. I'm excited.

I'm also going to be selling some knitted items at the art fair at school this coming semester. I could use the extra cash and I'm got a big enough stash of yarn that I can do it. I was thinking coasters, maybe some small bags, a few fingerless mitts, and some hats. I'll also be taking commissions if someone can't find something in a color that they want. I'm actually pretty excited, because everything that I'm going to (hopefully) knit won't be an undertaking, so I should have a bunch of things to sell. I just hope people buy them. Otherwise, I'm left with a bunch of random things that I can't do anything with. We'll see. :]

There are so many things I want to do this vacation, but it's already almost half over! So sad.

In other news, we have to put my grandma into a nursing home. She's lived with us for about 15 years, and her health has been slowly declining. The other morning, she collapsed, but thankfully my sister was right there to catch her (It was most certainly God's work that she was right there. If no one had been there, my grandma would have hit her head or something worse). We called the ambulance and she seemed to recover while we waited for it, but they took her in anyways. She doesn't remember the even at all. Her balance is way off and she's very weak. There's really no way that we can take care of her by ourselves, so my mom and uncle (who is visiting) found a lovely nursing home. I just hope everything works out well. Please keep us in your prayers (if you do that sort of thing). It's a tough time for all of us, especially my mom. It's her mother.

WELL! On that not-so-happy note, I will be updating more frequently (hopefully). I have many projects to do, and I'm excited to show people. Have a Happy New Year's Eve and Day! We're going to see the Cleveland Orchestra on New Year's Ever. I'm excited! :]
